Referral Program
Alura allows active traders to earn rewards by referring new users to the platform.
Once eligible, users can generate a referral code and earn a share of the trading fees paid by the users they refer.
Referral Eligibility
To create a referral code, a user must first reach:
$10,000 in total trading volume.
This requirement ensures that referral codes are generated by active participants in the platform.
Referral Reward Structure
Referral rewards are based on the year in which the referrer becomes eligible to create a referral code.
Each cohort of referrers receives a fixed reward percentage according to the following schedule:

| Year 1 | 30% of trading fees |
| Year 2 | 15% of trading fees |
| Year 3 | 7.5% of trading fees |
| Year 4 | 3.25% of trading fees |
Once a user becomes eligible to generate referral codes, their reward percentage remains fixed according to the cohort year in which they qualified.
Reward Distribution
Referral rewards are:
- calculated from the trading fees generated by referred users
- accumulated in USDC
- claimable once rewards exceed $2
Example
If a trader becomes eligible in Year 1, they receive:
30% of trading fees generated by users they refer.
If a trader becomes eligible in Year 2, they receive:
15% of trading fees generated by users they refer.
